Burns Lake has a long tradition of cross-country skiing and biathlon and proudly claims to be the oldest ski club in British Columbia and possibly Canada. Explore the many groomed trails of easy to moderate degrees of difficulties. The trails are rated according to difficulty and this is indicated on each trail. Keep a watch for wildlife, the Omineca Ski Trails pass through various ecosystems. You may spot moose and deer as well as all types of birds.
