Snowshoeing

Season: Winter | Activity: Snowshoeing
Burns Lake has a large network of trails, that are perfect for snowshoeing in the winter.

The most diverse network would be located at Boer mountain biking trails, with a good selection to choose from ranging from easy-going trails to more challenging trails. There is something for everyone. The 2.8KM loop around Kager Lake is a nice trail to start with due to its central location and relatively flat well-used trail. There is also Long Lake trail for those that are looking for more of a half a day snowshoe trip, this 6.4Km Moderate level trail leads to lovely viewpoints from Boer mountain.

There is ample mountain biking trails, but it is recommended that snowshoers new to the area use the 3Km loop which is also a fat biking trail in the winter.
